Daniel Carwile
Playing the fiddle since age seven, Daniel's championships include The U.S. Grand Master Fiddle Contest, World Series of Fiddling, Grand Lake National as well as Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama State Championships.
He has served as a judge at the Oregon State, Colorado Open, Alabama State, Wyoming State, NW Regional and National Old-Time Fiddler's Contest.
Daniel teaches fiddle privately and at workshops and fiddle camps throughout the country including Mark O'Connor's String Conferences and the International Fiddle School at Vanderbilt University. He and his wife Amy own and operate Carwile String Studio in Lexington, Kentucky and perform together as a duo.
